This spot was to promote 24-Hour Comics Day, a marathon comic making event supported by a local shop. I developed the animation of the official logo, All illustrations are mine.
These are all logos designed for promotional campaigns, news features, contests, and charities CTV was partnered with.
All logos are designed with television screens, and all of its inherent difficulties, in mind; I use strong, solid typefaces to ensure they are visible when tiny. Most are designed to be animated.
As part of the CTV Edmonton News website launch, I built a few animations to promote it on-air.
A poster provided by the Royal Tyrrell Museum of Paleontology was the inspiration for this spot to promote a contest for budding artists.

This promotional spot was designed as a template for a post production editor to version out everyday for 3 weeks.
The design had to allow current news footage and audio to be dropped in with a minimum of trouble.

To convey CTV News’ 5 journalistic principles I built this spot with some dynamic typography and subtle news imagery.
